Nashville Contrails

Early in the morning, on a Sunday, just before Nashville, the contrails range from spiky, precise lines in the far distance to smeared out white hashes in the blue sky.

Just found an interesting quote attributed to Winston Churchill, not that that in itself is interesting, but here it is:

“A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty.” 

Thanks, Winston, for this clarification, and with a distinctly British way of saying “Sir”, as heard toward the end of “The King’s Speech”, after which Winston tells George VI about his speech impediment, I sign off: “Sar!”
